We offer specialised coaching for more able children in a range of sports, including handball, cricket, tag rugby, hockey and athletics. This takes place over a 6 week period culminating in an inter-schools competition which allows children to test their skills in a competitive environment. Working with a more able group allows children to focus on more advanced skills and make rapid progress. Each child taking part will have an individual progress assessment to help measure the effectiveness of the project.
Our Forest Schools sessions are delivered by a fully qualified Forest Schools Practitioner and are designed to increase children's confidence, independence and self-esteem. Groups will engage in activities such as shelter building, fire lighting, team challenges and many others. Forest Schools has shown to have a positive impact on children's behaviour and focus across all aspects of school life, teaching some useful skills along the way.
