Fully trained and qualified coaches

Did you know? All Onside staff are trained in Child Protection, Safeguarding and Paediatric First Aid. Not only that, our coaches are either already Level 3 qualified or, as it takes up to a year to complete, working towards their Level 3 Coaching Qualification.

We provide expert coaches to cover all areas of P.E. from EYFS through to year 6.  Each lesson is fully inclusive and differentiated to meet the needs of all children including those with SEN or G&T requirements.

Why Choose Onside Coaching?

  • All coaches are Enhanced DBS Checked, paediatric first aid trained and hold a minimum level 3 sports coaching qualification.
  • Our staff receive regular in house training to keep up to date with safeguarding and inclusion.
  • We provide all necessary equipment for our lessons as well as a complete planning folder.
  • Children are assessed at the end of each unit to monitor progress and identify areas for development.
We would love to show you what we have to offer so please give us a call on 01926 496 406 to arrange a free taster session.

Gifted and Talented

We offer specialised coaching for more able children in a range of sports including handball, cricket, tag rugby, hockey and athletics.  This takes place over a 6 week period culminating in an inter-schools competition which allows children to test their skills in a competitive environment.  Working with a more able group allows children to focus on more advanced skills and make rapid progress.  Each child taking part will have an individual progress assessment to help measure the effectiveness of the project.

Forest Schools

Our Forest Schools sessions are delivered by a fully qualified Forest School Practitioner and designed to increase children's confidence, independence and self-esteem.  Groups will engage in activities such as shelter building, fire lighting, team challenges and many others.  Forest Schools has shown to have a positive impact on children's behaviour and focus accross all aspects of school life, teaching some useful skills along the way.

Please get in touch if you would like to find out more or explore how Forest Schools could work in your setting.
