Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

To help provide you with the best possible customer experience, we've included below a selection of Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ). So whether you've got a query about Multi-Sports, a quandary regarding Forest Schools, or a simple question about how our holiday schemes work, then this is the section for you.

Holiday Schemes - Times and Payment

Q: What time do the Holiday Schemes start?

  • Warwick, Stratford, Southam and Meon Vale courses all start at 9:30am and run until to 3:30pm.
  • Forest Schools at The Warwickshire starts at 9:30am and runs until 3pm.
  • We offer early drop off from 8.30am and late pick up until 5.00pm at Warwick, Stratford and Meon Vale courses if you want to extend the fun.
  • Southam is early drop off only from 8.30am

Q: Can I pay on the day for courses?

A: No. With the introduction of our new online booking system, all bookings must now be paid for at check-out. Furthermore, childcare voucher payments will need to be arranged a few days in advance so that your account can be credited prior to booking. Q: Where will you be if I need to pick my child up early?

A: If you inform one of the coaches in the morning that you will be collecting your child early, then they will let you know where to pick your child up from. Each course has its own mobile phone on site if you need to speak to the course leader directly.  The relevant contact numbers are visible on the Homepage during holiday times.

Holiday Schemes - Things to Bring

Q: What does my child need to bring?

  • Appropriate clothing and footwear for the course – we would recommend they wear multiple layers, so that they are prepared for all weathers
  • A packed lunch
  • A refillable drinks bottle
  • In poor weather, a water proof coat is recommended for both Football and Forest Schools
  • In hot weather a sun hat is recommended, as well as sun lotion
  • Medication if required e.g. Inhaler
  • Shin pads for footballers - we would also recommend that they bring both trainers and boots, as it’s possible we will be playing indoors and outdoors.

Q: What should I wear for Forest Schools?

A: The perfect shoes would be walking boots or shoes. If you don’t own a pair of these already don’t worry; wellies are ideal if it is or has been raining or if the ground is wet. If it is dry then trainers would be fine. Forest school trousers are advisable over shorts as there are bramble and stinging nettles, and a water proof coat whatever the weather as you are outside and the weather could always change.

Holiday Schemes - The Dance Show

Q: What time will the Dance Show take place?

A: The Dance Show will start at 3pm on Thursday, where the children will perform all of the dances that they have learnt throughout the week.

Q: Where do I go to watch the Dance show?

A: If you head to where registration takes place each morning, a member of the Onside Team will be waiting for you to show you where to go.
